Over the last few years we have received four large picnic benches for the playground, which can be used for lunchtimes, playtimes, outdoor activities and experiments. We also have a number of flower tubs, some wall mounted litter bins and new gates, all of which help make the playground more attractive.
Clatt Primary School lies some ten miles south of Huntly and serves the village of Clatt and the surrounding area. The school is situated in an attractive, rural part of the country.
The nineteenth century school building was renovated in 1985 and a new General Purpose Room with a pitched-roof was added in 1995. This room provides space which can be used for Physical Education, Music, Drama and many other activities.
The school regularly holds fund-raising events and concerts in the nearby Village Hall, and pupils have also held several concerts in the locally owned Auld Kirk adjacent to the school.
